A sunflower seed head of nine hundred florets, dark olive at the centre and gold at the rim. Each floret sits at the golden angle from the one before it, at a radius proportional to the square root of its index; the interlocking spirals are not drawn but fall out of that placement. The divergence angle drifts a fraction of a degree either side of golden, and the spiral families unwind and re-form as it passes through.
